We posted our save the dates earlier in the week – I was so excited I made Ryan record 3 Boomerang videos to capture the moment of popping them in the postbox, as you will have seen if you follow me on Instagram.
We ordered them from Bateman Designs on Not On The Highstreet and were really pleased with how they turned out. There were so many options but Ryan picked the small wooden heart fridge magnets and I think he made a good choice.
I spent my Sunday happily popping the magnets into small envelopes, writing out our family and friends names with a fancy fountain pen and sealing with small white sticky hearts. I can’t wait to have more little bits like this to do throughout the next few months as we start thinking about invites, RSVPs, signs etc.
It took us 4 attempts to finalise our guest list – it was really hard. We put together a list of everyone we wanted to share the day with and then split it out into day and evening guests. I wish we could invite everyone we know to share in the whole day but the cost would just be outrageous! I hope our family and friends that couldn’t come to the day will still be free to come to the evening – we are so blessed to be surrounded by so many amazing and lovely people that it would be a shame not to have them there to celebrate. Fingers crossed … 301 days and counting!
